Mykolaiv to buy 2.5 million worth of saplings from a newly established sole proprietor from Kyiv region

Mykolaiv Parks will order the newly created sole proprietorship to purchase a variety of trees and shrubs for the city. The seedlings will cost the state budget UAH 2.5 million.

The auction in the format of open bidding with special features was held on September 26. The expected purchase price was initially UAH 3 million 520 thousand.
Two bidders registered for the auction: Zaporizhzelengosp, a municipal agricultural enterprise of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, and Volodymyr Donchuk, a private entrepreneur.
They offered to supply bushes and trees for between UAH 2.564 and 2.599 million. That is almost a million less than the expected cost. The winner of the tender was Donchuk V.A. The customer is currently preparing to sign an agreement with him.
According to the tender documents, the contractor is to purchase and deliver: 12 large-leaved linden trees, six Ginnal maples, 65 golden ash trees, 13,380 units of common privet, 1,028 units of Barbarys thunbergii, 48 units of holly holly and 824 units of berry yew.
Under the terms of the tender, the contractor has to deliver the seedlings by October 31, 2024. In particular, the trees must be healthy, without damage, with a well-developed root system. In addition, each tree must be at least 2 meters high and at least 4 years old. Shrubs will be planted with a height of at least 40 cm and at least 3 years old.
According to the YouControl service, Volodymyr Donchuk was registered on September 5, 2024, in the village of Kovalivka, Bila Tserkva district, Kyiv region. That is, the company is only 22 days old, and it is already participating in public procurement.
Recently, the Mykolaiv Funeral Service selected a contractor on the second attempt to manufacture and install 160 tombstones for defenders who died in the Russian war against Ukraine.
