The State Bureau of Investigation in Mykolaiv has announced a tender for the installation of video surveillance cameras. The office of the institution is located in Odesa. It is planned to spend more than three hundred thousand.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

The service is planned to install a video surveillance system in the premises of the first and basement floors and the outer perimeter of the administrative building of the State Bureau of Investigation in Mykolaiv at 20 Velyka Arnautska Street, Odesa.

The expected value of the procurement is UAH 344 thousand.

The deadline for submitting bids is November 5, and the auction is scheduled to take place on the same day. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 1,720. No security is required to secure the fulfillment of the procurement contract. The contractor must provide a certificate confirming the experience of performing similar works.

The selected contractor must provide the installation services by December 9, 2024. The customer will make payment after acceptance of the work.

Among other works, the selected contractor has to install two controllers for 4 doors, 5 RFID readers, 5 contactless exit buttons, 10 electromagnetic locks, 10 lock brackets, two rechargeable batteries and one video surveillance camera.

In addition, the SBU Office in Odesa region decided to purchase a specialized passenger car based on a Toyota RAV4 or equivalent for UAH 1.6 million. The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special features and is currently pending with its only participant, ViDi Palmira Limited Liability Company.

Imitation of competition in the procurement of office paper allowed officials from two southern regions of Ukraine to spend more than UAH 4 million from the budget on unnecessary expenses. In Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, office paper was purchased at 80-100% higher than market prices.

The Center for Public Investigations also investigated the top 5 discriminatory requirements that budget organizations in the South have included in tender documents over the past two months. For instance, one of the requirements was found in the tender documentation of the Capital Construction Department of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration for the repair of a shelter in Stepkivska school with an expected cost of over UAH 19 million.
