Mykolaiv port decided to make repairs for almost 18 million

The Mykolaiv seaport is planning to repair railroad tracks and turnouts. The expected cost of the repairs is almost UAH 18 million.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to Prozorro public procurement data.
The customer of the work was the Mykolaiv Seaport Authority. It is planned to overhaul turnouts #127, #129, #153, #157 and railroad track #6 of the Z Park.
The expected cost is UAH 17 million 655 thousand 933.
The auction is scheduled to start on September 3, 2024. The minimum price step reduction is UAH 88 thousand 279.
No bid security is required, but the successful bidder must provide a security for the performance of the contract. The amount of the security is 4.9% of the contract value and must be in the form of a bank guarantee.
Payment for the work performed is made by the customer on a monthly basis within 15 calendar days from the date of signing the acceptance certificate for the completed construction works. The source of financing for the procurement is the company's own funds.
All expenses related to the provision of security for the performance of the contract shall be borne by the winner.
The contractor shall dismantle the existing turnout and lay a new one on reinforced concrete bars, dismantle part of the pavement slabs and counter rails with reverse laying. Also, remove the old crushed stone ballast under the turnout and track sections and replace it with a new single-layer crushed stone ballast.
Due to the limited access to the turnouts and track sections, the contractor shall be provided with appropriate lifting equipment to perform the works.
All works are to be completed by December 31, 2024.
Recently, the Odesa branch ofthe state enterpriseUkrainian Sea Ports Authority announced a tender to find a contractor who will be paid for the construction work on the reconstruction of the second stage of the transport overpass at Mytna Square in the city's Prymorskyi district.
And Mykolaiv Maritime Agency was purchased for twenty times the amount stated in the tender. Six investors competed for the right to own the maritime agency, and the price increased 20 times: from almost UAH 711 thousand to the winning bid of UAH 14.28 million.
