Mykolaiv Education Department announces a tender for the purchase of 577 laptops

Mykolaiv plans to purchase laptops for educational institutions. More than UAH 18 million has been allocated from the budget for this purpose.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

The Mykolaiv City Council, through the Education Department, intends to purchase 577 new laptops for the city's educational institutions, including kindergartens and schools.

UAH 18 million 925 thousand 600 is planned to be allocated for this purchase. The minimum price reduction step is 94 thousand 628 hryvnias.

The auction is scheduled for November 14. The customer will pay for the goods after they are delivered within 30 days.

According to the terms of the tender, the contractor will provide laptops to 65 educational institutions in Mykolaiv, including: 26 kindergartens, 36 schools, the House of Creativity for Children and Youth, the Station of Young Technicians, and Mykolaiv Municipal Academic College.

The laptops must have the following specifications: 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a 15.6-inch monitor, a licensed Windows 11 Professional operating system, and mice.

The selected contractor must deliver the laptops by December 13, 2024.

Also in the Mykolaiv region, they decided to reconstruct a kindergarten that has been restored since 2021. More than 56 million hryvnias were allocated from the budget, which is 10 million more than last year. The reconstruction of the Kobleve pre-school "Sunshine" is planned.

An Odesa-based company will repair the dining room at a Mykolaiv school for more than 23 million. The Capital Construction Department tried twice unsuccessfully to find a contractor to repair the canteen in one of the city's gymnasiums. On the third attempt, they succeeded. The contract is now expected to be signed.

In late October, an entrepreneur involved in a lawsuit over embezzlement of budget funds was entrusted with a contract to repair the fire alarm system in a school in Mykolaiv region without an auction. It was a major overhaul of the automatic fire alarm system in the Vesnianske Lyceum with an elementary school and a gymnasium.
