A Kyiv-based company was awarded three tenders for the supply of medical equipment for a psychoneurological boarding school in Odesa region without an auction. The total cost of all purchases is over UAH 6 million.
The Center for Public Investigations learned about this from the Prozorro system.
On December 16, the Centralized Procurement Organization of Odesa City Council completed tenders for the purchase of medical equipment. All three lots were awarded to Kyiv-based Invapol LLC. The procedure was conducted in the format of open bidding with special features, so the winner had no competitors.
Preparations are currently underway to sign an agreement with the supplier. According to the Prozorro system, the purchase was made in the interests of the neuropsychiatric boarding school "Island of Hope". All equipment is to be delivered to 4 Solnechna Street in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
The first tender included a rehabilitation complex, a powered treadmill and a massage table or couch powered by a mains supply. The expected cost is UAH 2 million 356.7 thousand.
The second tender involves the purchase of joint development simulators, bicycle ergometers, a physiotherapy table, coordination training devices and other equipment. The total cost of this tender is UAH 2 million 332.7 thousand.
The third lot includes the purchase of 11 medical beds, 21 electric hospital beds, and two massage tables or couches without power supply. The expected cost is UAH 1 million 458 thousand.
Thus, the total value of all procurements is more than UAH 6 million, and all contracts will be concluded with Invapol LLC.
According to Opendatabot, the company was founded in 2010 and specializes in the wholesale of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, as well as the production of medical and dental instruments.
According to its financial statements, in 2023, Invapol's revenue amounted to UAH 93.75 million, which is almost four times more than in 2020 (UAH 24.31 million). Net profit for the same period increased from UAH 5.1 million to UAH 42.6 million. The company's assets currently amount to UAH 127.55 million, and it employs 8 people.
Half of the company's authorized capital of UAH 3 million is owned by its founder, Bohdan Bondarenko, and the other half by Unilex Law Firm LLC. Mykola Shchyruk and Mykola Bezzubenko are also listed as the ultimate beneficiaries.
The company is managed by Olena Sovva.
Meanwhile, the Jewish Hospital held a tender to select a company to purchase a mammography X-ray stationary digital system.
