More than 7 million for roof repair in Odesa college

The search for a contractor to repair the roof of the College of Mechanics and Technology has begun in Odesa. The educational institution suffered from a shakedown attack on the city on February 8.
The budget for the work was set at UAH 7 million 665 thousand, according to the Center for Public Investigations.
An open tender with special features on the Prozorro platform was announced by the Mechanical and Technological College of Odesa National Technological University on October 24.
It is a major overhaul of the roof of the educational building and workshops of the MTFC of ONTU at 12, Chornomorskoho Kozatsstva Street, Odesa.

The customer expects that all roof reconstruction works will be completed by the end of 2025. The winner will be selected on November 8, and the process of submitting bids is currently underway.
As a reminder, as a result of an enemy attack in Odesa on the night of February 8, the college was destroyed and two patrol police officers were injured as they were on their way to the scene to help people. The law enforcement officers sustained mine-blast injuries during the second explosion and were hospitalized.
The building of the educational institution was severely damaged - the roof, ceilings, and windows were broken.
Also in Odesa, major repairs to the roof of the Prymorskyi Lyceum, which suffered from Russian attacks, were planned. According to the project, the old roof will be dismantled and a new one will be installed in its place, with insulation and insulation layers. In addition, the facade will be repaired, with about 700 square meters of surface to be plastered and painted. The project envisages approximately 60 different types of work.
Meanwhile, the Capital Construction Department of the Odesa City Council has ordered major repairs to the school at 10 Mykhailivska Square, which was damaged by a Russian missile strike. The main works include replacing the windows. However, the windows were already replaced in the spring at the expense of a charitable foundation.
