Modern sweepers to be purchased in Mykolaiv for 45 million

Mykolaiv plans to purchase 5 sweepers for a utility company. The winner of the auction should deliver the vehicles by the end of 2024. The budget was estimated at UAH 45 million.

On the public procurement platform Prozorro, Mykolaiv Parks announced a tender in the format of open bidding with special features. It is about the purchase of specialized equipment, namely multifunctional sweepers complete with attachments.
The customer has put forward a number of requirements. Thus, the winner of the auction must supply new machines manufactured no earlier than 2023, designed for all-season maintenance of city roads, sidewalks and lawns. The equipment includes various types of brushes, a hopper, a sand and salt spreader, a universal dump trailer, a mower and other equipment for efficient cleaning and maintenance of the territories.
Mykolaiv Parks expects that the cost of the five vehicles will not exceed UAH 45 million 403 thousand.
The tender is open until October 31, and the auction is scheduled for November 1. Under the terms of the contract, the contractor must deliver five units of equipment by the end of 2024. Payment is to be made in a 20% advance and the remaining amount upon delivery of the equipment. The warranty period for shelf life or operation cannot be less than 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Recently, Mykolaiv planned to spend more than half a million hryvnias on cleaning up fallen leaves. The selected contractor should complete the work by the end of the year.
Mykolaiv has also allocated over eight hundred thousand hryvnias from the city budget for landscaping. The city plans to lay a wicker road, install trash bins, benches and tables, and plant bushes and trees. The works were commissioned by the administration of the Ingul district of Mykolaiv City Council.
In addition, Mykolaiv has announced a tender for public amenities. More than two million hryvnias from the city budget will be spent on mechanized vacuum cleaning of the roadway. The work was ordered by the Central District Administration.
