The Artsyzka community of Odesa Oblast has launched a large-scale reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities, which have long been in a state of disrepair.
This was reported by the Bolhrad Rayon Administration.
They explained that the facilities were built in 1967. Due to their malfunction, untreated wastewater entered local water bodies, posing a serious threat to the environment and the Black Sea.
