On December 14, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, provided 52 housing certificates to veterans from Odesa region.
This was reported by the press service of the OMA.
According to the administration, this year the state has provided housing for 338 defenders of Ukraine in Odesa region alone, worth almost UAH 800 million.
According to Oleh Kiper, in 2025, the priority will remain the implementation of the state programs "eOselya" and "Affordable Loans 5-7-9" to provide our citizens with their own housing and business. The Odesa Regional Military Administration will also continue to implement a program to compensate 3% per annum on mortgage loans for members of the defense forces. The regional military administration provides such compensation for more than 350 apartments purchased by our soldiers and their families.
In November , Odesa Oblast received an additional UAH 342.4 million to provide housing for 152 Ukrainian defenders. In total, by the end of the year, more than UAH 4.1 billion will be allocated from the state budget to cover the housing needs of 1,836 families of veterans from among the internally displaced persons, persons with war-related disabilities and families of the fallen.
The Cabinet of Ministers recently changed the requirements for housing that can be purchased under the eOselya affordable mortgage program.
From now on, the program for most citizens will be focused on new or commissioned housing no more than three years ago. At the same time, the government has expanded opportunities for internally displaced persons under the program. They will be able to buy apartments or houses that are up to ten years old, whereas previously the age of housing under eHousing was limited to three years.
The state program of affordable mortgage lending for Ukrainian citizens, eOselya, was launched in August 2022, and as of September 10, 277 people in Odesa region have benefited from it.
