Eight wells in Kherson region to be built for almost 17 million

The Novovorontsov Village Council has found a contractor to build eight artesian wells to provide water supply to Novovorontsov TG in Kherson Oblast following the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP for UAH 16.9 million.
The relevant contract was published on the Prozorro portal, according to the Center for Public Investigations.
The Novovorontsovo village council announced the open bidding with specifics on August 19. The tender was held on September 3. The expected cost of the work was 17 million 34 thousand 80 hryvnias. One bidder, Yugelectrocom LLC, took part in the auction. They offered to drill wells for UAH 16 million 990 thousand 640. The contract for the work was signed on September 13.
So by December 31, the company has to drill and equip 8 artesian wells in the community.
According to the Youcontrol analytical system, Yugelectrocom has been on the market for over 26 years. Its main activity is the wholesale trade in other machinery and equipment, and among other types of activities it also installs water supply networks, heating and air conditioning systems. The beneficial owners are Inna Kosheleva, Mykola Sorochan and Oleksandr Laktionov.
The company has been participating in public procurement since 2016. During this time, they participated in 85 tenders and signed 79 contracts worth UAH 38.4 million.
Earlier, the Territorial Development Department of the Kherson Regional State Administration announced a tender for the construction of eight artesian wells to provide water supply to Novoraysk TG (Novoraysk, Chervonyi Mayak) in Kherson Oblast following the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP. The expected cost of the works is UAH 38.9 million.
In addition, a separate unit of the South Ukrainian Hydrogeological Expedition of the State Enterprise Ukrainian Geological Company will conduct supervision of drilling five wells in Beryslav district for UAH 100 thousand.
