In Odesa, the tram tracks will be repaired by Pylon West. This company is repairing a high-rise building at 54 Akademika Zabolotnoho Street, which suffered from an attack by Russian drones on New Year's Eve.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.
On November 7, Odesmiskelektrotrans held an auction in the format of open bidding with special conditions for the reconstruction of tram tracks on 28 Brigady Street (formerly Paustovskoho Street).

The utility is currently waiting for the contractor to sign the agreement. The works are scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2025.
For 8 million 625 thousand hryvnias, the company plans to dismantle old tram tracks and equipment, disassemble rails, sleepers, and switches, as well as transport and dispose of dismantled materials. The contractor will install new tracks, lay new tram rails on wooden sleepers, including straight and curved sections.
It is also planned to install turnouts for tram crossings between tracks, install special structures, including drainage systems and elements that ensure the stability of the tracks in areas with level differences. The repair work must be done without stopping traffic.
In August, the Department of Municipal Economy of Odesa City Council awarded the contract for the restoration of a high-rise building at 54 Akademika Zabolotnoho Street to the Odesa-based company Pylon West without an auction. The building was hit by a Russian drone on New Year's Eve. The overhaul was estimated at UAH 4 million 150 thousand. The company has until the end of this year to repair the building.
The city council allocatedfunds for the restoration of this and a number of other buildings damaged by Russian attacks in January 2024. It took more than six months to start the work.
