The 17th Odesa International Film Festival has begun selling tickets for screenings. This year, it will take place from August 27 to September 4 in Kyiv.
This was announced by the OIFF press office.
Audiences can now view the schedule and purchase tickets for selected screenings. The festival program includes international and national competitions, special screenings, and themed selections.
The festival will feature new Ukrainian and international films, documentaries and feature films, as well as festival premieres. Some of the films will be seen by Ukrainian audiences for the first time.
In addition to film screenings, the Odesa International Film Festival will host meetings, workshops, and other events featuring representatives of the film industry.
You can purchase tickets and view the schedule on the festival’s official website.
The organizers have also begun selling festival passes. You can purchase a pass to attend screenings by advance reservation or subject to availability. The pass also grants access to master classes, creative meetings, and other festival events.
This year’s OIFF will, as usual, bring together Ukrainian and international filmmakers, audiences, journalists, and film industry representatives.
The Odesa International Film Festival, which will be held in Kyiv for the third consecutive year, previously announced its program for film professionals and later presented 12 out-of-competition films.
At the same time, a debate has arisen over the festival’s venue. On social media, the Odesa International Film Festival was criticized for not having returned to Odesa yet. In response, the organizers began to defend themselves, stating that the festival retains its name, history, and Odesa identity.
