Under the cover of the Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, "black archaeologists" are freely plundering the territory of the Chersonesos Tavriya reserve.

This was reported by the National Resistance Center.

The criminals are acting according to a well-established scheme: illegal excavations, export of ancient artifacts and payment of kickbacks to Russian security forces.

Those who refuse to give up part of their loot are detained. Recently, law enforcement officers detained a man who was carrying a metal detector and a collection of coins that spanned the period from ancient times to the 20th century.

Meanwhile, we remind you that the largest lake in Crimea, Sasyk-Sivash, has dried up almost completely. The algae that give the lake its bright pink color produce beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant used in the food industry. In addition, the lake is famous for its healing properties. At its bottom, a special black silt rich in minerals is formed, which is used to treat skin and joint diseases.

However, since 2014, the situation has been deteriorating. After the occupation of Crimea, the Russian authorities began using water from artesian wells for the needs of the population, which led to a decrease in water levels.

Meanwhile, Nozdrina, a Crimean collaborator, became the head of Askania-Nova, which was seized by the occupiers. Olena Nozdrina has extensive experience of cooperation with the occupation authorities. After the annexation of Crimea, she worked in the illegal administration of Simferopol and the occupation Ministry of Property and Land Relations. She also participated in the illegal elections, working in the precinct election commission. The traitor has been working in the reserve for more than a year, where she initially came as a deputy director.
