The exhibition "Kherson.Steppe holds." at the Kyiv Art Arsenal was visited by the British Princess Anne.

The exhibition is dedicated to documenting Russian war crimes and the life of the Ukrainian South. In particular, Her Highness was impressed by the materials of the 'War Archive' and the photographs of Kherson correspondent Andriy Matrosov. This exhibition, which was shown to the Princess by Arsenal director Olesia Ostrovska-Liuta and director Roman Bondarchuk, was a small journey through the space of installations, video and photo projects.
The exhibition was made possible thanks to the financial support of the ERSTE Foundation and the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine program, which brings together the governments of Canada, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Yesterday, on Tuesday, September 30, Princess Anne arrived in Kyiv for a surprise visit . As reported by Buckingham Palace, the main purpose of the trip, which took place at the request of the British Foreign Office, was to draw attention to the "traumatic experiences of children living on the front lines of the conflict."
During her visit, Her Highness met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss further UK support for Ukraine. Princess Anne also met with First Lady Olena Zelenska, with whom she paid tribute to the children whose lives were cut short by Russian aggression by laying a teddy bear at the memorial.
The humanitarian part of the visit included a visit to the Center for the Protection of Children's Rights. There, the Princess had the opportunity to talk to young people who had been abducted from their homes by Russian troops but were later returned to Ukraine. She also thanked the center's staff for their tireless work. In addition, Princess Anne visited a rehabilitation center where she met with Ukrainian veterans.
