TCC officer and law enforcement officers to be tried for bribery in Odesa region

In Odesa region, the case of an officer of the district military commissariat and two law enforcement officers suspected of a corruption scheme involving military registration was brought to court. According to the investigation, in exchange for money, they promised to exclude persons liable for military service from the search database.
This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Prosecutors of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region submitted an indictment to the court against an officer of the Bolhradskyi District Military and Criminal Investigation Committee and two law enforcement officers. The investigation believes that in exchange for money they helped people liable for military service to be removed from the Oberig database.
All three are accused of obtaining undue advantage for themselves and third parties for influencing decision-making by officials performing state functions. These are actions committed by a group of people by prior conspiracy.
According to the investigation, the head of the documentary support group of one of the RTCC and JV units, together with two police officers, found men who had not updated their military records in time. In exchange for USD 7,000, they promised to facilitate the removal of such persons from the wanted list by influencing the responsible officials of the RTCC and the JV.
In the summer of 2025, after receiving the second part of the bribe from one of the persons liable for military service, all three participants in the scheme were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Based on the evidence collected, they were served a notice of suspicion and a custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 1.5 to 2 million was chosen as a measure of restraint.
Also in Odesa, the court extended the measure of restraint in the form of detention for the head of the group for ensuring civil-military cooperation, who is suspected of organizing a scheme to evade mobilization. According to the investigation, he and his accomplices issued fake calls and medical certificates for money.
