In Mykolaiv, a serviceman of a territorial recruitment center was exposed who promised to "solve the problem" with military registration for money. According to the investigation, he tried to organize the illegal removal of a man from the wanted list by falsifying data in the register.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police in Mykolaiv region.
In Mykolaiv, law enforcement officers exposed a 46-year-old serviceman of one of the district TCCs and JVs suspected of influence peddling. According to the investigation, he offered men of military age "help" in avoiding problems with military registration.

It is a scheme under which the defendant promised to influence officials and enter false information into the state register"Oberih" for a reward. In particular, he guaranteed the client's exclusion from the list of persons wanted for violating the rules of military registration.
The suspect estimated his "services" at $600, which is about 22 thousand in hryvnia equivalent. It was while receiving this amount that law enforcement officers detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
The operation was conducted by investigators of the regional police together with internal security officers of the National Police, in cooperation with the relevant units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and under the procedural supervision of the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region.

The detainee has already been served a notice of suspicion of receiving a bribe to influence the decisions of officials, combined with extortion. If proven guilty, he faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
The court imposed on the suspect a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention with an alternative to bail. At the same time, investigators are checking whether there were other participants in the scheme. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
The law enforcement also exposed two servicemen of one of the district TCCs and JVs in Mykolaiv. They are suspected of extortion and receiving an illegal benefit for "assistance" in removing a person liable for military service from the Oberih search database.
