In Kherson, a court arrested the equipment of a resident of the city. She is suspected of distributing materials justifying Russian aggression against Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the decision of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.
The judge considered the motion of the senior investigator of the SBU in Kherson region to seize the property seized during the search of the suspect in the dissemination of materials justifying Russia's armed aggression and the temporary occupation of part of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, in the period from July 14 to November 3, 2022, the suspect used her Telegram account to disseminate information that contained justifications and recognition of the legitimate aggression of Russia against Ukraine. An expert opinion confirmed the presence of such statements in the materials.
On March 3, 2026, the suspect was served a notice of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. On the same day, a search was conducted at her place of residence, during which
- a Redmi Note 11 cell phone with two SIM cards;
- cash in the amount of 82,400 Russian rubles;
- the Constitution of the Russian Federation;
- two passports of a citizen of the Russian Federation and a foreign passport of the Russian Federation;
- a Samsungtablet.
The investigator recognized all the seized property as material evidence in the case.
The court partially granted the investigator's motion and arrested the cell phone, the tablet and the Russian Constitution. The investigators refused to arrest the money and passports, noting that they did not meet the criteria of material evidence.
Also in March, the court found Anastasia Gridchina, a member of the occupation "State Council of Crimea" , guilty of collaboration and spreading Russian propaganda. She participated in television broadcasts on Russian-controlled channels, where she promoted Kremlin propaganda narratives and justified the war against Ukraine. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
