Deadly shelling in Kherson region: Russians kill a man and wound eight others

Yesterday, the Russians once again shelled the settlements of Kherson region. One person was killed and eight others were wounded in the attacks. The Russian military fired at civilian infrastructure using artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems, and various types of UAVs.
According to the Kherson regional police, Kherson, Sadove, Kizomys, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Naddnipryanske, Shyroka Balka, Molodizhne, and Prydniprovske were under fire from the Russian army, Dniprovske, Veletenskoye, Novodmitrivka, Sofiyivka, Tomyna Balka, Romashkove, Ingulets, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Beryslav, Novoraysk, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Ukrainka, Shevchenkivka, Kozatske, Vesele.
The shelling damaged six apartment buildings and 14 private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, two administrative buildings, an educational institution, a police car, two civilian cars, a forklift, and a garage.
The Russian military sent attack drones at two private houses in Ukrayinka and Shevchenkivka, which were damaged. Artillery fire damaged five private houses in Ingulka. In addition, the occupants attacked a forklift in Novovorontsovka with FPV drones, two private houses in Osokorivka and Shyroka Balka.
The occupation army fired from multiple rocket launchers in Prydniprovske. Dniprovsky district of Kherson came under artillery fire. Two women aged 91 and 57 were injured as a result of the shelling. They were taken to hospital with explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds to various parts of their bodies. Three apartment buildings and a private house, an educational institution, a garage, and a car were damaged.
A 54-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man were injured when explosives were dropped from a drone. They sustained explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds to their limbs.
The Russians also attacked a checkpoint with a UAV, damaging a police car and a civilian vehicle. In addition, the aggressor directed an attack drone at a residential area, damaging three apartment buildings and injuring a 35-year-old woman. The Kherson woman sustained an explosive injury and a facial wound.
In the Central district, two administrative buildings were damaged by a UAV attack and a 58-year-old security guard was injured. The man was diagnosed with an explosive injury and contusion. Russian troops shelled Korabelny district with artillery, damaging four private houses there.
A 52-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man who came under enemy fire in Dniprovsky district on March 7 sought medical assistance. Both were diagnosed with mine-blast injuries and contusions. It also became known that a 49-year-old resident of Novokyiv, who was seriously injured in an FPV drone attack on March 1, died in hospital.
At the sites of Russian attacks, police inspected the scenes, collected material evidence and recorded the consequences of Russian strikes.
Over the past day, police opened 28 proceedings for Russian war crimes.
