In Odesa, a court fined a TCC officer 93,500 hryvnias for influencing the decision of the Medical Examination Commission. He was also barred from holding positions in territorial recruitment and social support centers for three years.

This is stated in the verdict of the Khadzhibey District Court of Odesa.

According to the case file, the officer from the mobilization department was detained on June 29 on Kostetska Street in Odesa. The official received 100“OKKO” gas station vouchers for diesel fuel totaling 1,000 liters—equivalent to 79,900 hryvnias—from the representative of a person subject to military service.

In exchange for this bribe, the lieutenant promised to influence the head of the Territorial Military Registration and Enlistment Office to issue a referral to the Medical Examination Commission and to enter data into the registry confirming the absence of violations of military registration requirements. He was also supposed to negotiate with the head of the Medical Examination Commission to have the man deemed fit for service in support units, training centers, and logistics.

During the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted his guilt and sincerely repented.

The court credited the soldier with the time he spent in custody from June 29 to August 3, 2026—day for day. Once the verdict takes effect, the bail of 266,240 hryvnias will be returned to the person who posted it, and the previously imposed seizure of property will be lifted. The court ordered that the “OKKO” fuel coupons, which were among the physical evidence, be returned to the SBU Office in the Odesa region.
