An employee of one of the departments of the Novokakhovka City Military Administration was sentenced to 15 years in prison for treason. The court also ordered the confiscation of his property.

This was reported by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office of the Southern District.

According to the prosecutor’s office, from August to November 2025, the official maintained contact via Telegram with a representative of Russia’s FSB who used an account under the name “Andrei.”

During this time, he sent the representative photographs of map sections seven times, showing the locations of Ukrainian military units in the Kakhovka district of the Kherson region.

The official sent some of this information on his own initiative, while other parts were collected at the behest of the Russian intelligence service.

According to the case file, he understood that the information could be used to launch attacks against Ukrainian military personnel, yet he continued to cooperate with the FSB representative.

During a search, law enforcement officers also found a Russian passport in his possession.

The convicted man is currently being held in custody without the right to bail.

Recently, the court handed down a sentence to Petro Lyashko, the director of a company owned by Kherson Mayor Igor Kolykhaev. He was sentenced to up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property for aiding the Russian occupiers.

The court ordered the confiscation of hundreds of land plots, vehicles, agricultural equipment, and corporate rights to agricultural enterprises that Lyashko managed in the occupied Kherson region.

Another court handed down a verdict to an employee of the Donetsk Drama Theater who, during the occupation of Kherson, served in the ranks of the illegal armed group “DNR” and was on duty at a checkpoint near the Antonivsky Bridge.
