A woman from the Kherson region suspected of collaboration has lost the right to dispose of her houses and other real estate. The property has been seized pending confiscation.
This is stated in a ruling by the Zavodskyi District Court of Mykolaiv.
The following properties were seized:
- a residential house with outbuildings;
- another detached house;
- an 11/100 share of a residential property.
The decision to seize the property is subject to immediate enforcement. Meanwhile, the pretrial investigation in the criminal proceedings is ongoing.
According to the pretrial investigation, a resident of the Kherson region voluntarily collaborated with the enemy. She headed the illegally established “Henichesk Territorial Election Commission” in the temporarily occupied territory of the region.

According to the investigation, from June to September 2026, the suspect actively organized and conducted illegal elections to Russian government bodies. Court documents state that she coordinated the activities of election commissions, participated in meetings, prepared polling stations, and did everything in her power to facilitate the integration of the occupied territories into the Russian electoral system.
In late September 2026, the woman was officially notified that she was suspected of collaboration. However, she did not appear when summoned by law enforcement, as she is currently in hiding from the investigation in the temporarily occupied territory.
Since the penalty for collaboration under the relevant article includes mandatory confiscation of property, investigators, together with prosecutors, filed a motion to seize the real estate belonging to the suspect. The purpose of this step is to prevent the sale, transfer of ownership, or concealment of the property until a final verdict is handed down.
