300 thousand for transfer to the rear: TCC official detained in Odesa

An official of the TCC in Odesa promised a military man a transfer to the rear and subsequent discharge from service. Law enforcement officers detained him immediately after receiving the bribe and now he faces liability for influence peddling.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police in Odesa region.
In Odesa, law enforcement officers exposed an official of one of the district territorial centers for recruitment and social support who demanded money to influence personnel decisions. In exchange for UAH 300,000, he promised to help a serviceman of an assault regiment to be transferred from the front line to a rear unit, as well as to assist in his subsequent dismissal from service.
The operation was conducted by officers of the Strategic Investigations Department in Odesa region jointly with police investigators. According to the investigation, the official, working as an executive officer of the administrative department of the RTCC and JV, assured that he had influence on other officials and could "resolve the issue".
The promised "package of services" also included passing a military medical commission with subsequent recognition of his unfitness for service.
The man was detained immediately after receiving the bribe. He has now been served a notice of suspicion under the article on abuse of influence.
The court imposed on the suspect custody as a measure of restraint with an alternative of bail in the amount of almost one million hryvnias. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region.
Also in Odesa, the sale of rescue squad certificates to avoid mobilization was exposed. The men were promised to "solve the issue" of conscription through influence on the TCC.
According to the investigation, the director of the Rubicon Security Agency and the head of the NGO Assistance and Assistance to the Emergency Service of Ukraine "Odesa Rescue Squad" organized a scheme whereby conscripts were promised avoidance of mobilization and unimpeded movement in exchange for money.
