Kherson police record Russian war crimes at the sites of attacks

Kherson police documented 16 Russian war crimes committed against civilians in one day. Among the consequences are dead, injured and destroyed houses, and police are working at the sites of the attacks along with bomb squads and investigators.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson regional police.
Over the past day, Russian troops have launched massive attacks on settlements in the de-occupied part of the Kherson region. Artillery and mortar shelling, kamikaze drone attacks and drone bombings resulted in 15 civilian casualties: four were killed and 11 others were injured.
At night, artillery shelling hit two high-rise buildings in the Korabel neighborhood in Kherson. A married couple, a 57-year-old man and his 54-year-old wife, were killed by the shelling. In Antonivka, a UAV operator dropped explosives on a civilian car. A 65-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were injured and hospitalized with shrapnel wounds.
Later, the Russians attacked again: A 74-year-old man was killed, and a 72-year-old woman next to him sustained a mine-blast injury and numerous bruises. Two other men, aged 59 and 60, were also injured in the attack.
In the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, an explosive device dropped from a drone injured a 49-year-old man. In Stanislav, a 50-year-old local woman was wounded by artillery fire. Near Veletynske, an FPV drone hit a 44-year-old man. He sustained an explosive injury, a fractured tibia, contusion and a head injury.
In the evening, Bilozerka was hit by artillery: a 71-year-old pensioner was killed, a 57-year-old woman sustained light injuries, and a 49-year-old man was hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds. Another artillery shelling in Dniprovsky district damaged a residential building. An 84-year-old woman was also injured.
Kherson police investigators have opened 16 criminal proceedings over violations of the laws and customs of war.
The day before, the enemy dropped explosives from a drone on an ambulance, killing two people and injuring ten others. Two multi-storey buildings and 12 private houses were damaged as a result of enemy attacks.
