In Mykolaiv, a court ordered the seizure of property seized during searches of the suspect's home. The woman is suspected of collaborating with Russia and doing business in the temporarily occupied territories.
This is evidenced by the decision of the Central District Court.
The investigation found that the MP acted for her own benefit. She tried to preserve her business and property. Her goal was also to make excessive profits by cooperating with the occupation administration of the Russian Federation and illegal authorities in Kherson.
It has been established that she purchased food in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk regions and Crimea, after which she sold it in the Michel store in Kherson, which belonged to her ex-husband. These actions, according to the investigation, were aimed at supporting the occupation authorities and obtaining personal benefits.
The MP was notified of the suspicion on June 8, 2022. On November 20, 2025, during a search, law enforcement officers seized documents and other material objects that are considered material evidence by law. They retained traces of the crime and contain information to prove guilt in criminal proceedings.
The court, taking into account the prosecutor's arguments, ruled to seize the seized documents to ensure their safety and further use in the case.
Also, in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, law enforcement officers found that a 49-year-old resident of Oleshky, Vitaliy Makarenko, voluntarily cooperated with the Russian occupiers. He ran for the so-called pseudo-council from the United Russia party and supplied food to the invaders.
In addition, an educator in Kherson will stand trial for collaborating with the Russian occupiers during the seizure of the city. The investigation established that the accused, who was the dean of one of the faculties of Kherson National Technical University, voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the invaders. She organized the educational process according to Russian standards, supervised the admission campaign, and helped to transport the university's property to the left bank of the Dnipro River.
