An employee of the humanitarian headquarters of the Novokakhovka Military District was exposed as a collaborator with the Russian special services. He passed on information about the location of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the decision of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.
The SBU exposed a resident of Kherson region who passed data on the location of Ukrainian military to Russian special services. According to the investigation, the dispatcher of the humanitarian headquarters of the Novokakhovka military administration systematically sent the coordinates of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units to the occupiers via Telegram.
The investigation established that a man from the village of Kozatske, having pro-Russian views and not recognizing the Ukrainian government, came into contact with a Russian agent - a Telegram user registered to a Russian mobile operator. The communication was conducted through personal correspondence, where the suspect used his own account.
The man collected information about the movement and location of the Ukrainian military and sent it to the agent of the aggressor country. In particular, in August 2025, he sent three times photographs of fragments of Google maps with markings on the location of soldiers of a separate coastal defense brigade. The materials contained precise addresses and coordinates that allowed Russians to identify units on the ground.
Messages with the coordinates of the Ukrainian military are recorded in chats dated August 18, 20 and 21, as well as August 29, 2025. The SBU notes that the defendant acted consciously and understood the consequences - the information transmitted could be used to adjust fire and other sabotage against Ukraine.
The court ruled to take the man into custody and keep him in a pre-trial detention center until January 5, 2026. He is charged with high treason under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Kherson Court of Appeal also upheld the conviction of Dmytro Tokarev-Talibov, a former official of the Kherson Regional State Administration, for collaboration. He was sentenced to six years in prison for working in a senior position in an occupation enterprise.
