Collaborator from Crimea financed enemy armed forces and may be imprisoned for 12 years

The Crimean resident financed the Russian army by transferring funds to support the occupiers. The investigation believes that he acted in collusion and deliberately helped the enemy.
This is stated in the suspicion of the Prosecutor General's Office.
The Security Service of Ukraine served a notice of suspicion to Dmytro Burilov, a citizen of Ukraine, a native of Feodosia (Crimea), who financially supported the armed forces of the aggressor state. His actions were classified as aiding and abetting of the Russian Federation, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As the investigation established, in March 2025, Burilov, on the instructions of another resident of the peninsula, Petro Yaroshenko, transferred 36 thousand Russian rubles to a bank card of a Russian bank. This account was placed on resources related to the support of participants in the so-called special military operation of the Russian Federation.
Before that, Yaroshenko sent Burilov the card details and instructions to make the transfer via Telegram. After the transaction, Burilov sent him a screenshot of the receipt as a confirmation of the payment.
According to the investigation, the suspect's actions were deliberate and intentional. He acted to harm the state security of Ukraine through material support of the armed forces of the aggressor state. The transferred funds were intended to support the military operations of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine.
The case file also states that the resource dobro.rf, which posted the details for fundraising, positions itself as a platform for volunteer assistance to participants in the Russian aggression. Similar appeals were spread on another website, in particular, offering donations in the form of food, ammunition or finance for the needs of the aggressor's army.
All the collected data became the basis for serving a notice of suspicion to Dmytro Burilov. He was charged with aiding the aggressor state and transferring material resources to support the actions of the Russian army.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 12 years with possible confiscation of property.
Also, six businessmen from Crimea were sentenced in absentia to imprisonment for cooperation with the occupation administration. They provided services for the structures of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and Crimean colonies, earning more than 60 million rubles, and are now deprived of the right to do business in Ukraine.
