Blogger Oleksandr Nadyozha from Pivdenoukrainsk was sentenced to 8 years for attempting to overthrow the constitutional order and justifying Russian aggression. The appeal was returned and the sentence came into force.

This was reported by the online edition News.pn.

The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv sentenced blogger Oleksandr Nagyozha from Pivdenoukrainsk to eight years in prison for attempts to overthrow the constitutional order of Ukraine. This is stated in the decision of the Kyiv Court of Appeal of September 10, 2025.

By a verdict of May 2, 2025, he was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 109 (violent overthrow of the constitutional order), Part 2 of Article 436-1 (dissemination of communist symbols) and Part 1 of Article 436-2 (justification of Russian aggression) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property, except for housing.

The blogger's appeal was returned due to deficiencies. Nagyozha himself refused to receive documents to correct the errors, but now he can appeal the return of the appeal to the Supreme Court.

According to the SBU, he justified Russian aggression, called for the seizure of power in Ukraine, and organized paid actions in favor of Russia.

Before Russia's full-scale invasion, they held paid mass actions together aimed at destabilizing the internal political situation in the region in favor of the aggressor country.

To disseminate destructive content, Nagyozha used YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and other social networks with a total audience of over 100 thousand users, discrediting Ukrainian defenders and calling for evasion from military service. His publications were often picked up by the Kremlin media, passing them off as the opinion of Ukrainian citizens.

The blogger was detained in July 2023, and the "job description" of Stremusov's news agency was seized during the searches. Prior to the full-scale invasion of Russia, he had already been involved in provocations in the Southern Ukrainian and Mykolaiv regions, including with his associate Igor Savitsky. In April 2024, Savitsky was sentenced to 7 years for illegally detaining a business partner and collecting a debt.

Law enforcement officers also put Kherson City Council member Kostiantyn Syvak on the wanted list on suspicion of treason. He is accused of cooperating with the occupation authorities and transferring property to the environmental inspection.
