Wealth of Odesa MPs has not changed significantly in five years

Experts from the all-Ukrainian civic campaign "Certification of Local Council Deputies" have investigated the property changes that have occurred over the past five years in the declarations of MPs elected to represent the interests of voters in Odesa Oblast and found that there have been no significant changes.
As noted in the experts' study, a significant portion of real estate, both residential and non-residential, as well as vehicles, is not registered as property, but through the right of use or lease.
This makes it difficult to fully assess the real level of integrity of the declarants. Members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from Odesa region declared a total of UAH 147.7 million in monetary assets in 2024, and the total income of the MPs amounted to UAH 36.4 million. They also declared 31 residential properties and 35 hectares of land.
The largest amount of income in 2024 was declared by the family of MP Oleksiy Honcharenko - UAH 9.6 million. A significant part of the family's wealth is income from entrepreneurial activities - UAH 6.5 million. Oleksiy Honcharenko received remuneration of UAH 2.1 million for the use of an audiovisual work. He declared another UAH 693 thousand of income as salary.
Anatoliy Urbanskyi is in second place: His family's income in 2024 amounted to UAH 6.6 million. His wife received the largest part of the income from entrepreneurial activity - UAH 5.9 million. The MP received another UAH 595.9 thousand as a salary.
Ivan Shynkarenko declared UAH 3.7 million as income together with his family in 2024. The main source of the family's income is entrepreneurial activity - UAH 2.7 million. Another UAH 742 thousand was accrued to the MP as salary in 2024. Another 173.6 thousand UAH of income was received by the deputy's wife as a salary from the company Flower Service LLC.
MP Mykola Skoryk is catching up with his colleague in terms of the amount of declared income in 2024: his declaration shows UAH 3.6 million. The MP declared UAH 1.3 million as a gift in cash. An additional UAH 732 thousand of income was accrued as salary. He also receives a pension: in 2024, a total of UAH 142.2 thousand was accrued from the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
MP Stepan Cherniavskyi rounds out the top five with a total income of UAH 2.7 million in 2024. The largest share of this income is made up of dividends received by his wife from Agrostar Export LLC in the amount of UAH 900 thousand. Another UAH 621 thousand was received as a salary from the legal entity Gladious Limited (UK). The MP's salary makes up part of the income - UAH 729 thousand. A significant part of the family's income is made up of income from entrepreneurial activities - UAH 463 thousand.
If we compare the total income of all 13 MPs of Ukraine elected from Odesa region in 2019 and 2024 (the first and last submitted declarations), the total income of the MPs increased by UAH 11.6 million. In 2019, it amounted to UAH 24.8 million, and in 2024 it was already UAH 36.4 million.
