In 2024, members of the Mykolaiv City Council declared tens of millions of hryvnias in income and significant amounts of non-residential real estate, including through family members. Some actively bought up property, while others kept the previous amounts unchanged.
The Center for Public Investigations has compiled a rating of the five richest members of the Mykolaiv City Council. Among them are owners of garages, workshops and a grain elevator.
Deputy Dmytro Ivanov has the largest area of non-residential real estate - more than 47 thousand square meters. In addition to a 364-square-meter garage in Kyiv, the rest are four non-residential premises and 32 parking spaces in Mykolaiv owned by his wife. Almost all of this property, except for one parking space, was purchased in 2024 for UAH 9.6 million. At the same time, the couple has not shown any cash savings since 2022, and their joint income last year amounted to UAH 6.8 million. There is also no mention of loans or borrowings in the declarations.
The second largest owner of non-residential real estate is Dmytro Falko, the City Council Secretary, who declared more than 9,000 square meters. This includes an administrative and warehouse building, two maintenance boxes, a smithy, a water tower, a grain elevator, other non-residential facilities, and a parking lot. Compared to 2023, there were no changes in his property.
Vladyslav Chaika owns stakes ranging from 25% to 50% in 12 properties, including 11 non-residential premises and an industrial goods store with a total area of over 3,000 square meters. His civil partner, Iryna Bergman, owns three garages and stakes in 14 non-residential properties. In total, their non-residential real estate area reaches 5,577 square meters.
Rustamjan Sadridinov, a non-partisan, owns a workshop for repairing agricultural machinery and a warehouse-fridge for vegetables with a total area of 4,483 square meters. He has not acquired any new properties since 2023.
The smallest amount of non-residential real estate among the leaders is owned by non-partisan Andriy Turitsa - 2,459 square meters. His property includes a complex for the sale, maintenance, and repair of cars, industrial and commercial buildings in Kherson region, two garages, and three parking lots. Compared to 2023, the composition of his property remained unchanged.
Thus, in 2024, some deputies actively invested in non-residential real estate, often through family structures, while others kept their assets without significant changes.
Also, the car fleets of Mykolaiv deputies are strikingly different: some declared dozens of expensive cars, motorcycles and special equipment, while others did not specify any vehicles. Some families have more than 20 cars, while others do without any.
