Mykolaiv plans to overhaul one of the city's key heating mains. PJSC Mykolaivska CHP has initiated a project for the current repair of heating networks on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to data from the Dream ecosystem.
The main goal is to improve the reliability and efficiency of the heating system, ensure uninterrupted heat supply for residents, and minimize heat loss.
The project involves large-scale work, including inspection and diagnostics of the network to determine the technical condition of pipes, detect damage, leaks and corrosion. It is also planned to replace worn-out sections and modernize the heating mains using modern materials that meet energy-efficient standards.

In addition, a thermal insulation coating is to be installed to reduce heat loss, valves are to be adjusted, and pressure and temperature are to be checked. The final testing will include checking the performance and tightness of the pipeline after the repair work is completed.
According to the description, the implementation of this project will reduce heat losses, increase the energy efficiency of the network and improve the quality of heat supply in the city. Thanks to modern technologies and high-quality materials, the heating main will receive a new service life, which will ensure stable operation of the system for years to come.
The total length of the repair area is 352 meters. The project budget is UAH 40.3 million. The project was initiated by Mykolaiv City Council, and the balance sheet holder is PJSC Mykolaivska CHP.
