The CPR found out who among the directors of Odesa hospitals earned the most last year

Last year, according to financial reports, the heads of Odesa medical institutions received an average salary of UAH 44 thousand, some received UAH 29 thousand, some - UAH 56 thousand, and some received UAH 77 thousand per month.
Journalists of the Center for Public Investigations checked the declarations for 2023 of all 39 directors and acting directors of medical institutions in the city and compiled a rating of the leaders with the highest income, savings, residential, non-residential and land area, as well as the largest number of vehicles.
The highest income in 2023 was received by Lyudmyla Antipova, director of the Consultative and Diagnostic Center No. 6 (CDC). Last year, she earned UAH 497.9 thousand, received a pension of UAH 140.1 thousand, and sold an apartment in Odesa with an area of 42.2 square meters for more than UAH 1 million. She also received UAH 10 thousand in financial aid from the Odesa Regional Trade Union of Medical and Pharmaceutical Workers. So the director's total income amounted to UAH 1.697 million.

Volodymyr Fedorov , director of Dental Clinic No. 5, earned a little less than his colleague - UAH 1.469 million. At the same time, the director's salary amounted to only UAH 307.1 thousand, and his main source of income last year was business, from which he received UAH 1.094 million. His pension amounted to another 67.6 thousand hryvnias.

In 2023, Tetiana Kaftan, director of the Primary Health Care Center No. 5, received a total of 1.159 million hryvnias. As director, Kaftan received UAH 625.6 thousand in salary, and UAH 526.8 thousand was her salary as a family doctor at the same primary healthcare center. In addition, Kaftan received UAH 6.9 thousand in charitable aid from the healthcare facility's trade union.

The highest salary among the directors of Odesa medical institutions included in our rating was paid to Stanislav Tiutiunnik, director of Dental Polyclinic No. 4. Last year it amounted to UAH 931.9 thousand. So, together with a pension of UAH 170.3 thousand, the director received UAH 1.102 million last year.
In 2023, Oleksandr Babenko, Director of the Center for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, received UAH 1.085 million. He earned 568.7 thousand hryvnias, plus 424.4 thousand for consultations from the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the AntiAIDS Foundation-Ukraine charitable foundation. Babenko's pension also amounted to 92.4 thousand hryvnias.

The income of other directors of medical institutions ranged from UAH 400 thousand to UAH 900 thousand.
