According to the developers, the project will significantly reduce the risks associated with power outages and increase the efficiency of the heating network. This, in turn, will help create safe conditions for Mykolaiv residents, especially in winter. The innovative initiative will be a small step in modernizing the region's critical infrastructure.
Denmark also provided over UAH 35 million to purchase mobile boiler houses. The project will ensure the stability of heat supply in case of emergencies. To improve the quality of heat supply in Mykolaiv and increase the reliability of the system, Mykolaivoblteploenergo plans to purchase six solid fuel mobile boilers.
The company also decided to install solar power plants on the roofs of the heating stations. This will provide an additional source of clean energy for the local infrastructure. It is planned to install solar power plants with a capacity of 15 kW each on the roofs of the company's central heating stations. A total of 34 solar stations will be installed.
