Among the heads of courts in the Mykolaiv region, there are both those who own nearly 400 square meters of residential property and judges who have not declared any apartments or houses of their own.
These findings were published by journalists from the Center for Public Investigations and Media Intent, who analyzed the 2025 asset declarations of local court heads in Mykolaiv Oblast and determined who owns the most real estate.
Who declared the most housing
First place in terms of living space went to Natalia Vasylchenko-Dryga, head of the Novobuzhsky District Court. In her 2025 declaration, she listed 395 square meters of residential real estate.
The judge herself owns a 50.3-square-meter apartment in Novobuzh and a 224-square-meter house in Mykolaiv. Her husband, Oleksandr Dryga, declared a 120.8-square-meter apartment, also in Mykolaiv.
In second place is Serhiy Shcherbyna with 254 square meters of housing. All the real estate is registered under his wife, Svitlana: these are apartments measuring 206.8 and 47.2 square meters in Mykolaiv. The judge himself has not declared any personal housing and uses his wife’s apartment.
Third place went to Galina Podzigun with 227 square meters. This consists of a 117-square-meter apartment in Mykolaiv, jointly owned with her husband, as well as two apartments measuring 93 and 50.6 square meters, registered in the name of her husband, Vadym Gavrasienko.
Who else made the top
Galina Dalmatova, Chair of the Pivdennoukrainsk City Court, declared 221 square meters of living space. This includes several apartments in Pivdennoukrainsk, as well as her husband Dmytro’s 71.6-square-meter apartment in Odesa. The declaration also separately lists a share in an apartment in Luhansk, which is currently under temporary occupation.
Rounding out the top five is Oleg Vuiv with 218 square meters. He declared a 150.9-square-meter residential house in Voznesensk, jointly owned with his wife, as well as his wife’s 67.2-square-meter apartment.
Judges without their own housing
At the same time, four court presidents did not declare any residential property in their ownership. These are Serhiy Yanchuk, Svitlana Orlova, Olena Repushevska, and Mykola Voynarivsky. All of them use housing that does not belong to them.
Commercial real estate
Only three out of 24 court heads declared ownership ofnon-residential real estate.
The family of Halyna Podzihun owns the largest amount of such space — a non-residential property of 180.9 square meters in Mykolaiv, registered in her husband’s name.
Galina Dalmatova declared a 100.1-square-meter garage in Pivdennoukrainsk, which also belongs to her husband.
Tetyana Marzhina listed a 24.1-square-meter garage in Pervomaisk.
The remaining 21 heads of local courts in the Mykolaiv region did not declare any non-residential real estate in their ownership.
