Mykolaiv exposes Ukrzaliznytsia official on mobilization reservation scheme

The SBU uncovered a scheme to evade mobilization in Mykolaiv. The head of the Mykolaiv passenger car depot of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC is under suspicion.
This is evidenced by the decision of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.
In Mykolaiv, investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine launched an investigation into an illegal mechanism for evading mobilization at railway companies. Within the framework of the case, property seized during a search of the premises of a passenger car depot was seized.
During the investigation, laptops, mobile phones, bank cards, flash drives, notebooks with work notes, registration logs, and personnel and salary records were seized. The materials also contain samples of signatures, seals and documents confirming the employment of employees with the subsequent receipt of "armor" from mobilization without actually performing work.
According to the investigation, the management of the depot organized a system whereby citizens received employment and documents to avoid conscription in exchange for a monetary reward, and the salaries of some employees were misappropriated.
The property was seized to preserve evidence and ensure its use in criminal proceedings under Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
The investigation is ongoing and the seized property will be used to establish all the circumstances of the case and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Also in January, law enforcement officers in Mykolaiv uncovered a fraudulent scheme to issue fake disability certificates to conscripts. This allowed them to evade military registration and travel abroad.
According to the investigation, in October 2025, a resident of the region, who had contacts among officials of commissions for assessing the daily functioning of a person (formerly MSEC), set up a corruption scheme. The investigation concerns the Primary Health Care Center No. 3.
