In the Dar'yivka community of Kherson district, an 18.86-hectare forestry land plot was illegally transferred to the category of agricultural land and classified as communal property. The prosecutor's office has succeeded in court in returning to the state an 18.86-hectare forestry land plot located in the Dariivka community of Kherson district.
According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court fully satisfied the claim and canceled the state registration of the land plot, which in 2021 was transferred to the category of agricultural land without legal grounds and classified as communal property.
During the inspection, prosecutors found that this territory actually belongs to the state forest fund. This is confirmed by the data of the State Land Cadastre, forest management materials and cartographic documentation.
It also turned out that the authorized bodies had not made any decisions to withdraw this land from the forest fund, change its designated purpose or terminate the right of permanent use.
The prosecutor's office emphasizes that the forest fund lands have a special legal status and cannot be used for commercial agricultural production. Illegal changes in their designation pose risks to forest conservation and environmental safety in the region.
Following the court decision, the land plot will be returned to state ownership.
Earlier, the court returned to state ownership almost 97 hectares of land in theKamianska Sich National Nature Park, which had previously been transferred to communal ownership as agricultural land.
