A new car, land plots in two regions and new acquisitions - Skadovsk Mayor Oleksandr Yakovliev has published his 2025 declaration. It discloses information about his property, family business and income.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.
In the declaration for 2025, Yakovlev listed his family members: his wife Tetiana, daughter Yelizaveta, and son Ivan.
Among the declared assets are several properties, mostly in Skadovsk. In particular, he owns a 497-square-meter residential building and a 1698-square-meter land plot.
The official also has another plot of 1221 square meters and owns half of a 1581-square-meter production facility - the other half belongs to Oleksandr Bondarenko.
Together with this co-owner, the mayor jointly owns two more land plots - 5600 and 947 square meters (50% each).
He is also the owner of another plot in Skadovsk with an area of 1698 square meters. The most recent acquisition is a 434-square-meter plot in the village of Zbyranka, Lviv region, which he bought in 2024 for 54 thousand hryvnias.
The declaration also lists an unfinished construction project - a 146.85-square-meter garden house in Zbyranka. It is being built on land owned by the family and is jointly owned by Yakovlev and his wife. The construction is being carried out at their expense or with their own materials.
Among the vehicles declared are three cars: the mayor himself owns a 2014 Geely MK and a 2006 DongFeng DF25 truck, and his wife purchased a 2012 Nissan Leaf electric car in 2025. According to the car sales platform, such a car costs from 4 thousand US dollars.
The declaration also includes corporate rights: Tetiana Yakovleva owns 100% of Attica LLC, the value of the share is 460 thousand hryvnias.
The main income of the mayor is his salary in the executive committee of Skadovsk city council, which amounted to UAH 298,032 for the year. Additionally, he received UAH 11,740 in fees from the Ukrainian Educational Platform charitable organization and UAH 634 in cashback.
His wife declared UAH 20,167 in salary from Block-Standard LLC, UAH 204 in bank bonuses and UAH 50,000 in gifts. Yakovlev also indicated 300 thousand hryvnias in cash.
In early March 2022, the occupiers kidnapped Mayor Oleksandr Yakovlev, but he was released shortly afterward. In April, according to the official himself, he was forced to leave the city because of threats. He managed to leave through the occupied Melitopol, overcoming about three dozen checkpoints. At the same time, he showed his Ukrainian passport, but did not disclose his position.
At the end of 2017, the Skadovsk District Court found the mayor guilty of an administrative offense. He was fined 6,800 hryvnias and deprived of the right to hold the position of mayor for a year.
The case was based on four reports on the city council's purchases of stationery worth UAH 1,167 in 2016-2017 from a store owned by his wife. However, in the fall of 2020, Yakovlev won the mayoral election again and is now working in Lviv.
