The HACCU has seized property related to the family of Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Batkivshchyna party. The restrictions include cars and real estate registered to her husband.

This was reported by Intent with reference to the court's online broadcast.

The court partially granted the request of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau detective to seize assets within the framework of criminal proceedings. The property seized was registered in the name of the husband of politician Oleksandr Tymoshenko.

The property in question includes three cars - a 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser 200, a 2016 Audi A8, and a 1983 GAZ-14 - as well as two garages located in Dnipro.

In the motion, law enforcement officers stated that the seizure of the vehicles was necessary to ensure the possible confiscation of property as a form of punishment in the event of a guilty verdict.

At the same time, the High Anti-Corruption Court dismissed another request of the NABU detective. The court refused to seize Tymoshenko's bank account, which receives her salary as an MP and funds for the exercise of her parliamentary powers.

On January 14, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reported that the head of a parliamentary faction had been exposed as being involved in corruption. According to the NABU, Yulia Tymoshenko is suspected of offering undue benefits to a group of MPs from other factions for voting for or against certain bills.

During one of the sessions of the High Anti-Corruption Court , Tymoshenko said that the MP with whom the investigators made the conversation public was Ihor Kopytin, a representative of Mykolaiv region. According to her, he repeatedly tried to establish contact with her. She also claimed that the MP personally came to her and assured her that he opposed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's policies, offering joint actions.

On January 16, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine imposed a bail of UAH 33 million 280 thousand on Tymoshenko.
