During the first six months of 2026, the Mykolaivoblteploenergo Municipal Enterprise carried out procurements to ensure a stable supply of heat and electricity to the city. The company invested in both strategic energy equipment and day-to-day operational needs.

Intent analyzed the company’s largest procurements via the Zakupivli.pro platform. It is worth noting that the analysis is based on the expected value of the procurements, as the starting price may decrease during auctions.

The first month of the year marked the financial peak of the company’s procurement campaign, with contracts totaling 6.02 million hryvnias. The main expenditures were directed toward upgrading the electrical equipment in boiler rooms. The largest purchase of the month was the supply of TMG-630 power transformers worth 1.15 million hryvnias. The company also ordered KSO high-voltage switchgear for 462 thousand, automatic circuit breakers for 300 thousand, as well as copper and aluminum busbars and protective cable trays for 218 thousand hryvnias.

At the same time, in January, the company signed annual service agreements for the maintenance of its administrative infrastructure. Specifically, 887 thousand hryvnias were allocated for the repair and maintenance of copying equipment, and 488 thousand hryvnias for refilling cartridges. A separate line item covered vehicle repair costs: servicing a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV cost 172,000 hryvnias, while servicing MG vehicles cost 104,000 hryvnias.

In February, the main focus was on protecting the internal systems of boiler rooms from the corrosive environment of heat transfer fluids—the company purchased housings and equipment for industrial water filtration systems totaling 1.15 million hryvnias. Additionally, the company purchased cables and wiring for routine repairs worth 406,000 hryvnias and white office paper for printing technical documentation worth 316,000 hryvnias.

A major tender for the construction of a ground-mounted solar power plant worth 16.7 million hryvnias, as well as the purchase of A-95 fuel vouchers worth 500,000 hryvnias, were canceled this month.

In the spring, the company shifted to a mode of moderate spending. In March, the main expenditures included the purchase of rebar for repair crews worth 173,000 hryvnias, the purchase of Mikrotik network routers for internal communications worth 110,000 hryvnias, and rechargeable batteries.

In April, a portion of the funds was allocated to precision measurement technologies—"Flowtech" gas metering systems costing 142,000 hryvnias. The largest operational expense was the replacement of old entry and interior doors with new metal-plastic doors, including installation, at a cost of 85,000 hryvnias.

In May, the main expenditure was the purchase of industrial pressure gauges and measuring equipment for 485,000 hryvnias. Funding was also allocated for engineering work—the development of design and cost estimate documentation for the technical retrofitting of boiler rooms to install cogeneration units on Znam’yanska Street and Heroes of Ukraine Avenue (two lots at 95,000 hryvnias each).

In June, cold asphalt was purchased to repair the road surface around areas where heating mains had been excavated. Pipe fittings worth 966 thousand hryvnias and heat-resistant seals for boilers worth 388 thousand hryvnias were also ordered.

The largest expenses were:

  • maintenance of Jenbacher equipment—9.46 million hryvnias;
  • Isuzu vehicle maintenance services—2.86 million hryvnias;
  • purchase of A-95 gasoline—2.51 million hryvnias;

  • transformers—1.15 million UAH.

In total, during the period analyzed, the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivoblteploenergo” announced and carried out procurements totaling approximately 25.9 million hryvnias.

Additionally, themunicipal utility “Mykolaivvodokanal” announced and concluded dozens of procurement contracts worth hundreds of millions of hryvnias throughout 2026. The company spent the most on electricity, fuel, network repairs, and maintaining the operation of water supply and wastewater systems.
