Crypto and real estate: what the deputy mayor of Odesa revealed in her dismissal declaration

Pozdnyakova, the former deputy mayor of Odesa, declared expensive jewelry and bitcoins in addition to real estate and cars. She also received more than a million hryvnias in salary for less than a year in the city council.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.
According to the declaration, Hanna Pozdnyakova held the position of deputy mayor of Odesa and belonged to the third category of officials in local government. The official is registered and actually resides in Odesa. In her declaration, she listed two daughters, Maria and Anastasia, both of whom have Ukrainian citizenship and foreign passports.
She owns an apartment in Odesa with an area of 33.6 square meters, which she purchased in 2016 for UAH 141.9 thousand. She also owns an office space of 51.5 square meters, purchased in 2017 for UAH 252.3 thousand. In addition, the declaration indicates another apartment of 86.8 square meters, which the official uses, but the owner of the apartment is another person - Alla Pozdnyakova.
Neither the declarant nor her family members have any construction in progress.
Among her valuable movable property , Anna Pozdnyakova declared a sable fur coat by Braschi, as well as several pieces of Damiani jewelry - a wedding ring, earrings and a white gold pendant with diamonds. A Louis Vuitton designer bag is also listed separately. All these items were purchased before the first declaration was submitted. The official also indicated the presence of cryptocurrency - 6.02 Bitcoin.
Among the vehicles owned by the deputy mayor is a 2021 Toyota Highlander purchased in June 2022. The declared value of the car is UAH 1.95 million. She has no securities, corporate rights or business.
During the reporting period, she received over UAH 1.12 million in salary from the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council. The declaration also indicates state aid at the birth of a child in the amount of UAH 7,740 received through the Department of Labor and Social Policy of the City Council.
The official's monetary assets include USD 20 thousand in cash and almost UAH 180 thousand in bank accounts. The funds are kept in PrivatBank and Universal Bank. There is no information on foreign accounts or assets abroad in the declaration.
She was appointed deputy mayor of Odesa in the summer of 2024. Previously, she was in charge of the Odesa City Heat Supply utility company.
In late October, former Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov and his deputies were notified of suspicion of negligence in office, which led to the deaths of people during the September 30 floods. The investigation found that the officials failed to provide an effective response to the disaster.
