An official from the Odesa City Council reported a monthly salary of 100,000

After being dismissed from the Odesa City Council, Oleksandr Tykhovskyi filed a declaration in which he listed more than 715,000 hryvnias in salary for seven months and his family’s real estate holdings. The most valuable asset was an apartment that the couple purchased in 2023.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.

During his seven months on the executive committee, Tykhovsky received 715,357 hryvnias in salary. On average, this amounts to over 102,000 hryvnias per month. By comparison, the official declared over 529,000 hryvnias in salary for the entire previous year. In addition, he declared over 7,000 hryvnias in interest.

The family’s assets include two apartments in Odesa. One, with an area of 48.5 square meters, belongs to his wife, Daria Tykhovska. The couple purchased the second apartment, with an area of 109.5 square meters, in August 2023 as joint partial ownership. The value of the apartment as of the date of acquisition was over 2.8 million hryvnias.

Oleksandr Tykhovskyi also listed cash assets in bank accounts. However, the declaration does not mention any vehicles, securities, or corporate rights.

On August 11, he was officially dismissed from his position as executive secretary of the executive committee at his own request. 

Tykhovsky worked for a long time within the Odessa City Council. In November 2025, he became acting chief of staff of the executive committee after leaving his position as director of the city council’s organizational department.

He was appointed to the position of director of the department on October 4, 2023, by former Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov without a competitive selection process. Previously, in 2022, he headed the City Council’s Department of Culture and Tourism.
