The European Union has provided 28 million for the construction of a shelter for a rural kindergarten in Kherson region

The Kherson region plans to build a shelter for a school in the village of Bobrovyi Kut for almost UAH 29 million. The work should be completed by the end of 2025, and the funds were provided by the European Union.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro public procurement system.

A tender for the construction of a civil defense facility for the Bobrovokutske Secondary Education Institution of the I-II Degree - Preschool Educational Institution branch has been announced in Kherson Oblast.

The expected cost of the work is UAH 28.86 million. The client is the Kalynivka hub institution of general secondary education in Beryslav district.

According to the tender documents, the future shelter is to be built in the village of Bobrovyi Kut. The auction is scheduled for June 20, and bids can be submitted until June 19.

The contractor will be able to receive an advance payment of up to 30% of the contract amount after signing the agreement and invoicing the materials. Payment for the work will be made upon completion, signing of certificates and subject to availability of budget funding.

The works are to start on June 25, 2025 and be completed by December 25 of the same year. The procurement is carried out within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program. The amount of the tender security is 0.5% of the expected value of the procurement item.

One of the conditions of the tender is that all material resources to be supplied to the customer must originate from eligible countries, defined in accordance with Article 11 of the European Parliament's Regulation.

The Kherson Children's Hospital is also planning to reconstruct two buildings to create a modern emergency department with a CT scanner. In particular, the reception department of the main building and the diagnostic unit will be renovated, re-equipping them for the needs of emergency medicine. The project also includes the installation of a CT scanner. The total cost of the works exceeds UAH 108 million, and the reconstruction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.
