In the Kherson region, a blogger who glorified Russian aggression was found to have luxury cars, land, weapons and more than half a million hryvnias. All the property was seized at the request of the police, and the case was handed over to investigators - he faces criminal liability.

In the Kherson region, National Police and ARMA officers identified the assets of a pro-Russian blogger who publicly justified Russia's armed aggression and glorified Putin. This was reported by the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA).

The search was carried out at the request of the Kherson regional police within the framework of criminal proceedings under Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - "justification, recognition as lawful, denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants."

The collected data has already been transferred to investigators. "ARMA will continue to identify the property of people working for the enemy so that these assets do not remain in the shadows and can be used for the benefit of the state," commented Pavlo Velykorechanin, Deputy Head of ARMA.

The person in question is a popular blogger from Kherson region who was actively spreading pro-Russian narratives on social media. In the course of search operations, officers of the Department for Finding and Tracing of Financial and Other Assets of the ARMA established the location of a significant list of the suspect's property.

In particular, the suspect was found to be in possession of

  • luxury cars
  • residential real estate
  • land plots
  • agricultural machinery
  • firearms;
  • contributions to authorized capital in excess of UAH 500 thousand.

Law enforcement officers are currently continuing investigative actions. If proven guilty, the suspect faces imprisonment.

In January, the SBU stopped the supply of strategic raw materials that could be used in the Russian military industry. At the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, the court seized raw materials worth more than UAH 2 billion that belonged to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. These products were planned to be sent to Rusal enterprises that manufacture components for Russian weapons, including Iskander ballistic missiles, drones, and radar systems.
