Mykolayivvodokanal has spent 380 million on electricity and water supply repairs since the beginning of the year

In the first seven months of 2025, Mykolaivvodokanal spent more than UAH 380 million on the most expensive purchases. Most of the money was spent on electricity, reconstruction of water pipes, and the purchase of chemicals.
Intent analyzed the most expensive procurements made by the company using the Zakupivli.pro procurement platform.

At the beginning of the year, the company ordered the development of project documentation for the reconstruction of various facilities. In particular, more than UAH 800 thousand was allocated for the project of a drinking water laboratory, another UAH 1.1 million for the reconstruction of the water supply system in the Alyaudy, and the same amount for the water supply system near the Ingulets Canal. UAH 648 thousand was spent on preparing documents for the water supply system near school No. 48.
In January, Mykolaivvodokanal also paid almost UAH 2.3 million for printing services and more than half a million for the repair of office equipment. About UAH 16 million was allocated for the restoration of sidewalks after repairs to water and sewerage networks, and another UAH 684 thousand for landscaping. More than UAH 10 million was spent on crushed stone, sand, gravel and other aggregates.
The cost of reconstructing individual sections of water pipes ranged from several million to almost twenty million. For example, projects on Elektronna, Karazina, Teatralna, Budivelnykiv, Horokhivska, Malko-Ternivska, Chkalova, Terasna, and other streets cost more than UAH 90 million in total. The reconstruction of Elektronna Street alone was supposed to cost over 19 million, and the water supply system from the Zorya-Mashproekt plant was to cost 9.3 million.
Resources and materials were a separate large block of procurement. Over UAH 176 million was spent on electricity. Almost 38 million was spent on inorganic chemicals, 15 million on oil and distillates, and 2.8 million on lubricants.
The company spent several million more on repairing equipment, purchasing pipes, tires, batteries, tractor accessories, and vehicle repairs. For example, tires for trucks and cars cost UAH 5.6 million, tractor accessories almost UAH 7 million, and motorcycle repairs UAH 640 thousand. The purchase of storm clothing cost more than half a million, and work gloves cost more than 300 thousand. Other items included the purchase of hygiene products worth over UAH 430 thousand.
In 2024,Mykolaivvodokanalspent over UAH 500 million on procurement. The main funds were spent on the reconstruction of water supply networks, road repairs, and the purchase of electricity.
To reduce electricity costs, the company installed solar panels on the production buildings of its wastewater treatment facilities, for which it allocated UAH 7.3 million. At the same time, the company spent over UAH 239 million on electricity purchases, making it the most expensive item for the entire year.
