In Reni, a deputy's firm was given the opportunity to repair 375 meters of road for 17 million

The Housing and Communal Service of the Reni City Council in Odesa Oblast has selected a winner for the overhaul of the road surface of a part of Stepan Chobanu Street in Reni.
The contract for UAH 17 million 705 thousand was awarded to Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud, a company owned by Odesa Regional Council deputy Prince Khachatryan, Intent reports citing the Prozorro public procurement website.
According to the terms of the contract, the contractor has to repair 375 meters of road surface with a width of just over eight meters and two lanes over the next four months. The contractor is to apply a 20-centimeter-thick single-layer cement-concrete coating, arrange an exit, and strengthen the roadsides.
The second bidder was Prima-Stroy, a Reni company owned by Oleksandr Cholak. Its offer of UAH 17 million 617 thousand was slightly more favorable, but it did not help it win: the customer rejected it because the Reni company did not comply with the estimated norms in the documents. This ensured the victory of the competitor from Berezivka. The road will be repaired in two stages: the first will last until September 30, and the second until December 1 this year.
The founders of Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud are Prince Khachatryan, a member of the Odesa Regional Council, and his relative Robert Khachatryan. The company was registered in 2023. The company has solid indicators: in 2023, net revenue amounted to more than UAH 749 million, and net profit was about UAH 32 million. In addition to contracts in Odesa region, the company is active in other regions, including Mykolaiv region, where it repairs roads.
In June, the state-owned Local Road Service enterprise selected a contractor for the operational maintenance of public roads of local importance in Berezivskyi district. The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special features, and the only participant in this procurement was Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud Limited Liability Company. The company expects to pay UAH 173 million 50 thousand.
