Electricity, fuel and pipes: what was the most expensive procurement of Khersonvodokanal

In 2025, the Kherson Vodokanal utility company spent budget funds on various needs, from electricity and network repairs to the purchase of equipment and household materials.
Intent analyzed the largest transactions through the Zakupivli.pro platform.
The company started the year with procurement in the electricity sector. First, a tender for electricity distribution worth more than UAH 35 million was announced, and later another for more than UAH 90 million for the purchase of electricity itself.
Throughout the year, Khersonvodokanal also spent money on computer equipment, printed materials, mobile communications, and cartridge refills, totaling more than UAH 300,000. They planned to spend over UAH 99 thousand on funeral services.
A separate item of expenditure was the purchase of equipment. Almost 200 thousand was to be spent on hardware, welding materials, and cleaning products. Oil, batteries, vehicle spare parts, car repairs, and tires cost more than 500 thousand hryvnias.
Separately, bearings, transformers, cables and other electrical equipment were purchased for almost 400 thousand hryvnias. Parts for lamps and lighting equipment cost another 200 thousand.
Among the major expenses was the purchase of diesel fuel worth over UAH 8.5 million. More than UAH 517 thousand was allocated for A-95 gasoline.
In addition, the company ordered the preparation of environmental documentation (almost 250 thousand), hazardous waste management services (over 99 thousand), medical services (289 thousand), mastics and building materials (about 500 thousand). More than UAH 97 thousand was allocated for the development of design and estimate documentation for the repair of the shelter, and UAH 55.8 thousand for psychiatric examinations of employees.
The most expensive infrastructure procurement was the overhaul of the water supply system from I. Bohun Street to NHS-3 in Kherson, which cost UAH 14.7 million. Additionally, about 140 thousand were spent on technical supervision, and almost 15 thousand on author's supervision.
At the end of the year, the company was still purchasing lubricants for more than UAH 574 thousand and construction materials and engines for UAH 300 thousand.
In total, in 2025, Khersonvodokanal spent more than UAH 152 million on the most expensive purchases. The most expensive purchases were electricity, electricity distribution, water pipeline repairs, and diesel fuel.
In the first seven months of 2025, Mykolaivvodokanal spent over UAH 380 million on procurement. The main expenditures were for electricity, reconstruction of water supply networks, and the purchase of chemicals.
