Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Utilities plan to buy a garbage truck for 5 million

The municipal enterprise Avtotransservice in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa region, has announced a search for a supplier of special equipment - a rear-loading garbage truck for UAH 5.1 million.
This was reported by Intent with reference to Prozorro.
According to the tender documentation, the customer expects to purchase a 2025-26 vehicle with 1100-liter containers, diesel fuel, engine capacity of 300-320 horsepower, and a carrying capacity of 11,000-11,500 kg. The cab must be all-metal with additional thermal insulation, climate control, central locking with remote control, pneumatic driver's seat, power windows, and LED daytime running lights. The car has no more than 3 seats.
The auction is scheduled for January 2. The winner of the tender should deliver the new garbage truck to the customer by January 26.
On September 12, 2025, the executive committee of the Belgorod-Dniester City Council approved a decision to provide the municipal enterprise Avtotransservice with reimbursable financial assistance from the city budget in the amount of UAH 500 thousand. The funds are intended to pay off the existing debt for fuel used by Avtotransservice. The fact is that since May 2024, the Ecology Production Cooperative, which, under an agreement with the municipal enterprise, was engaged in the disposal of household, industrial and municipal waste at the landfill in the village of Abrikosove, has stopped doing so due to a ban on business. This step had a negative impact on Avtotransservice's business activities.
The closest landfill to which it can take household waste is a landfill 200 kilometers away from the city. As a result, in May-August 2025 alone, the utility exceeded the planned mileage by 50 thousand kilometers, which resulted in a fuel overrun of 10 thousand liters by UAH 494 thousand.
