A famous highway in Mykolaiv region is being repaired for more than 1 billion

The Mykolaiv Oblast Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service has announced a large-scale tender to repair the Odesa-Voznesensk-Novyi Buh highway. They are ready to spend more than UAH 1.2 billion. The search for a contractor has already begun.
The corresponding tender has been published in the Prozorro public procurement system.
According to the project, the works include repairing the road surface in concrete, laying cement concrete pavement, installing side stones and barrier fencing, cold milling of asphalt concrete, applying road markings and laying reinforced concrete pipes.
The expected cost of the works is UAH 1 billion 216 million 610 thousand 860. These funds will be used to repair 11.6 kilometers of the national significance road P-55 Odesa - Voznesensk - Novyi Buh. The source of funding is the state budget.
Applications from contractors will be accepted until December 10, 2025, and the final auction in the format of open bidding with special features will take place after that date. All work must be completed by October 31, 2027.
They include:
- cold milling of asphalt concrete pavement on an area of 43,980 m²,
- arranging the road base of crushed stone and sand mixture or soil with cement on 75,050 m²
- laying cement concrete or concrete pavement on 61,860 m²,
- installation of concrete curb stones on 805 sq.m,
- barrier fencing on 1,100 meters, horizontal marking on 20.4 km
- laying 3.1 m³ of reinforced concrete pipes.
The Mykolaiv region is also preparing to upgrade the transportation artery connecting Voznesensk and Novyi Buh. More than UAH 720 million from the state budget is allocated for the project. The customer is also the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Mykolaiv Oblast.
In addition, it was reported that Mykolaiv region has already planned to restore roads for UAH 1 billion by announcing a tender.
