60 million spent on repairs in the port of Odesa

In 2025, the Odesa branch of USPA announced tenders for infrastructure repairs and maintenance. Almost UAH 60.2 million has already been allocated for completed and planned works, and some of the largest purchases have not taken place.
Intent analyzed the expenditures of the Odesa branch of USPA using the Zakupivli.pro platform.
The largest tender was for the reconstruction of berth 7, located on Mytna Square. The expected cost of the work was UAH 539.8 million. It was planned to carry out large-scale construction work with adjustments to the project documentation. However, this procurement never took place.
Another large-scale project is the final set of works on the reconstruction of the second stage of the transport overpass on Mytna Square. Its cost was over UAH 31.3 million.
Other expensive tenders include the current repair of berth No. 2k, estimated at UAH 7.1 million, and the repair of asphalt concrete pavement and technological passages in the rear of the berths, where the price exceeded UAH 7.8 million.
It is also planned to spend UAH 27.6 million to repair the PS-399. Similar costs were foreseen for the restoration of the Sugar Pier - 6.1 million.
In addition, in August, a tender was announced for the overhaul of the roof of the main accounting building and canteen No. 2 of the port with the development of project documentation. Its expected cost was UAH 6.8 million.
There were also procurements to maintain engineering networks and transportation arteries. Thus, the repair of railway track No. 24 and the road at the root of the Military Mall was estimated at UAH 4.6 million. The maintenance of berth No. 35 and its water supply networks was supposed to cost 3.8 million. And the repair of transformer line equipment was estimated at almost UAH 3 million.
Also in September, the USPA announced a number of procurements for construction and repair work. It is planned to spend UAH 37.2 million (stages 1, 4, and 5) and UAH 24.4 million (stages 2 and 3) on major repairs of roads in several stages. Repair of the roof of the main accounting department and canteen No. 2 was estimated at 6.83 million.
UAH 15.9 million was allocated for the maintenance of the port's overpass, and UAH 27.65 million was allocated for the repair of the PS-399.
In general, the procurement analysis shows that: In 2025, the Odesa branch of USPA focused on the renewal of port infrastructure - from berths and piers to overpasses and administrative buildings. At the same time, some of the largest tenders were canceled or did not take place.
In 2025, almost UAH 60.2 million was allocated for infrastructure repairs and maintenance. The largest expenditures were for the repair of boats, berths, piers, and transport overpasses.
Also in 2025, the Odesa Oblast Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service spent billions of hryvnias on road repairs and maintenance, modernization of border crossing points, and housing rehabilitation, with a significant portion of the funds going to the needs of the service itself.
