₴170 Million Planned for Public Road Maintenance in Beryslav, Kherson

More than 170 million hryvnias are planned to be spent on maintenance services for public roads of national importance in Beryslav district of Kherson region.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, this became known from an announcement published on the public procurement website Prozorro.

On Friday, March 21, the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Kherson Oblast announced an open tender with a special feature. The contractor has to partially manually restore the profile of drainage ditches, clean them of dirt and debris. It also has to clean reinforced concrete trays and openings of culverts and small bridges. Remove garbage on the roadsides and where it is necessary to mow the grass and remove shrubs.

In addition, the winner of the tender will have to plan the roadside with a motor grader and arrange a two-layer road base. Cold milling of the asphalt concrete pavement and, where necessary,
lay asphalt concrete mixtures. In winter, he will have to clear the roads of snow.

The estimated cost of the works is UAH 170 million 82 thousand. Proposals from participants will be accepted until April 4, 2025. The auction will be held at the same time. The contract will be signed with the contractor by March 31, 2026.

Since the end of February, the Kherson Oblast Reconstruction Service has started announcing tenders for the repair of houses damaged by the Russians in Posad Pokrovsky. They announced five tenders for more than 238 million hryvnias to repair houses and two auctions for the construction of 103 residential buildings.

On March 7, 2025, the Government of Ukraine allocated 5.2 billion hryvnias for the comprehensive restoration of five settlements, including Posad Pokrovske in the Kherson region. The plan is to "rebuild better than it was," which means a comprehensive approach to modernizing infrastructure and improving the lives of citizens.
