The Danube Institute of the National University "Odesa Maritime Academy" has determined the winner of an open tender for the overhaul of the facade of the educational building in Izmail.

This was reported by Intent with reference to the public procurement website Prozorro.

The contract for 34 million 923.5 thousand hryvnias, which is 67.6 thousand cheaper than the maximum possible price, was awarded to the only bidder, Mobile Mechanized Column No. 132 LLC (PMC No. 132) from Zhytomyr region.

The company is to complete all the work by the end of 2025. In addition to renovating the facade, the building will be waterproofed, the roof will be replaced, interior finishing works will be carried out, and 30 air conditioners will be purchased and installed. The grounds near the main entrance will be cleaned up and renovated.

It should be noted that the auction was held at the second attempt. The first auction for 35 million 640 thousand hryvnias was announced on October 8. On October 14, at the stage of submitting proposals, the customer decided to cancel the procurement due to the need to change the expected cost of the procurement item.

In April 2024, PMK No. 132 received a contract for almost UAH 16 million to carry out the current repair of this three-story academic building of the university in Izmail. The contractor must complete the work by November 30 this year.
